The PTT 17 freight wagon belongs to an initial series of 56 units. The first 20 were built in Holland between 1950 and 1951, they had two-axle bogies each. Seven of them, in addition to automatic vacuum braking, incorporated a screw brake with its corresponding guard's cabin.
It provided service from 1951 to 1984, the year in which it was moved to the Andorra thermal power plant. Once the plant was closed in 2020 and its dismantling began, Endesa transferred the hopper wagon to the Foundation for the Preservation of Industrial Railway Heritage, manager of the Railway Museum in Móra la Nova.
In November 2023, the carriage was transported by road from Andorra de Teruel to Mora la Nova, and in 2025 it underwent functional restoration.
